1. Overview
Digital Chef Archive / VE Design LLC. (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides services designed to help employers and applicants reduce fraud and verify identity and participation through structured workflows (including live verification interviews and related logging). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Account Status and Verification
Subscriptions and payments may set an account’s expiration date (access window), but do not automatically make an applicant “verified” or “active”. Applicants become Active/Verified only after a verification interview and a verifier’s review.
3. Data Security and Storage
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data stored in our systems. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You understand and accept that use of the service is at your own risk.
- We store account information and service logs necessary to operate the platform (e.g., sessions, events, messages).
- Passwords are stored using data encryption and only used to validate a users identity.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, zero data loss, or absolute protection from unauthorized access.
- Uploaded resumes are stored encrypted for 90 days for security and validation pruposes only. Uploaded resumes are not shared with any third party services or entities.
4. Payments and Billing
Certain account types require payment to access subscription features. Prices, plans, and billing terms may change over time. When you submit payment, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge the payment method for the selected plan.
5. Credit Card Data (We Do Not Store Card Numbers)
We do not store full credit card numbers or CVV/security codes on Digital Chef Archive / VE Design LLC. servers. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We may store non-sensitive payment metadata such as:
- Transaction identifier / reference
- Payment date/time
- Payment amount and plan selection
- High-level result status (success/failure)
Any payment processing is subject to the payment processor’s terms and privacy practices.
6. Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the plan purchased and the nature of the service delivered. Unless otherwise required by law, subscriptions are generally non-refundable once service access is granted. We may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis (for example, duplicate charges or billing errors).
- Refunds are not guaranteed.
- Processing fees charged by payment providers may be non-refundable.
- Verified/consumed services (e.g., completed interviews) may be ineligible for refunds.
7. Cancellations
You may cancel renewal (if applicable) according to the plan rules. Cancellation typically prevents future charges, but does not retroactively refund prior charges unless explicitly stated. Access generally remains available until the end of the current paid period (expiration date).
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service, including but not limited to:
- Attempting unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- Uploading malicious content or exploiting vulnerabilities
- Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior during verification sessions
- Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation of identity
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose risk to users or the platform.
9. Disclaimers
Digital Chef Archive / VE Design LLC. is provided “as-is” and “as-available”. We make no warranties regarding outcomes, including whether an applicant is hired, accepted, or otherwise successful in any process. Verification is a best-effort process based on available signals and human review.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Chef Archive / VE Design LLC. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from the use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the prior 30 days (or the minimum amount allowed by law).
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. SMS Messaging Privacy Policy
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, except for the necessary opt-in data required to facilitate the SMS service.
